Mission and vision

Betar's mission is simple: To train young Jews who are aware of the needs of their people. Active young people who seek to overcome the adversities that the Jews go through and be ready to maintain the dignified and meaningful continuity of the Jewish people.

Betar also seeks to educate janijim so that they fly into what Jabotinsky believed as the “ideal Jew”, Jews proud of their Judaism, clean in their dress and in their way of life, examples of nobility and sacrifice, leaders in their communities but at the same time same time, willing to do whatever it takes for the Jewish state

.

Today, after the creation of the Jewish state, Betar's objective can be summarized as: "To maintain the dignified and meaningful continuity of the Jewish people", using as a means and an end at the same time: Aliyah

Zeev Jabotinsky

Zeev Jabotinsky was born on October 18, 1880 in Odessa, Russia. He was a writer, translator, journalist, military man, and above all a Zionist leader.

.

After the Kishinev Pogrom, Jabotinsky understands that the help of young people is essential for the creation of a Jewish state.

Jabotinsky was the first soldier of Yehuda, creating in 1915 with the help of Iosef Trumpeldor the Jewish Legion, a military unit made up of Zionist volunteers willing to fight alongside the British Empire to expel the Ottoman Empire of that time, Palestine.

In his quest for the creation of the Jewish state, he was the creator of the hague in Jerusalem, he was the first commander of the Irgun - "National Military Organization in the land of Israel", founder of Revisionist Zionism and above all, founder of the Zionist youth movement Betar, which is why we call it “Rosh Betar”.

We will uphold our principles. We will defend them. And, when necessary, we will die for them again, with or without their help.
